Imagine clean ocean air mixed with the fresh scent of fir trees tantalizing your senses. Imagine watching the puffins and whales quietly going about their daily business. Imagine icebergs floating silently and majestically by.

You don’t have imagine any more. Staying at Home From Away will let your imagination come to life. Our traditional salt box home will be your base for a wonderful time of rest, relaxation and discovery.
Home-From-Away provides private accomodations for 3 couples or a large family with three bedrooms and an additional pull out bed on the main floor creating a wonderful atmosphere where you can bring the family together for your vacation of a lifetime.

Our Rates are $150.00 per night 3 nights minimum, $800 per week.

NATURAL WONDERS TOURISM
Our guests will receive a $5.00 discount on any tour from Jon Joy /Natural Wonders Tourism.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS & PROMOTIONS
Our guests will receive a 15% discount on any meals at Nanny’s Root Cellar Kitchen, fully licensed

A delightful collection of historic sites, sounds and experiences can be found just minutes from your doorstep and are described in detail on the Bird Island Inn website. Hosts Robin and Charlotte Ritman will make sure your time at Home From Away is a very special experience. As the seasons change, the Ritmans will share their knowledge of the peninsula and its acitivities to make each guests’ stay a time to remember.
